City of Minneapolis Powderhorn Park

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Description: Restoration efforts aimed at lakeshore stabilization that involve the implementation of live prairie and emergent zone plants with prairie seeding around the perimeter of Powderhorn Lake.  Island enhancement work was also conducted by removal of invasive woody species and installation of native shrubs, wildflowers and shoreline emergent plants.
